Immune & thymic research peptides
Thymic peptides are among the oldest studied immunomodulators — fragments and analogues of thymus-derived regulatory proteins used in the literature to probe T-cell maturation and innate signalling. Alongside them sit short anti-inflammatory tripeptide sequences investigated in mucosal and barrier models.
About this category
These compounds are typically studied at low absolute quantities, so analytical accuracy matters: an inaccurate fill weight or a low main-peak percentage distorts results more here than in higher-mass categories. Every vial we ship is covered by a lot certificate stating both purity and content.
Immune-category kits ship lyophilised in temperature-buffered mailers, with the batch reference printed on the vial cap.
- Thymic analogues and short anti-inflammatory sequences
- Independent purity and content verification per batch
- 10-vial lot-matched kits, batch number on cap

Frequently asked questions
Why is batch content as important as purity?
Purity describes what fraction of the material is the target sequence; content describes how much peptide is actually in the vial. Both appear on our certificates.
How are immune peptides usually stored?
Frozen or refrigerated as lyophilised powder, then refrigerated once reconstituted and protected from light.
Can laboratories order on account?
Yes — bank transfer and SEPA are supported at checkout, and we can supply documentation for institutional purchasing.

Immune & thymic research peptides: selection guide
Thymic and antimicrobial peptides
Immune research peptides fall into three groups. Thymosin Alpha-1 and Thymalin are thymus-derived: the first is a defined 28-amino-acid peptide, and Thymalin is a thymic peptide extract from the Khavinson series. LL-37 is the only human cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide, widely studied in innate-immunity and wound-model research. VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) is a 28-amino-acid neuropeptide with immune-modulating activity in published models.
Adamax and handling notes
Adamax is a modified Semax analogue listed here for its immune-axis literature. LL-37 is a longer, amphipathic peptide that can be more sensitive to adsorbing onto plastic surfaces in solution. Low-binding tubes are common in published methods.
As with every category, these are research materials only. Nothing here suggests an immune or health outcome.
Selection criteria
Choose by research question: T-cell maturation models point to the thymic peptides, antimicrobial and barrier models to LL-37, and neuro-immune crosstalk to VIP. Check sequence length on each product page. Longer peptides such as LL-37 and VIP need careful storage to limit aggregation once reconstituted.
Documentation and ordering
Thymosin Alpha-1, LL-37 and VIP are defined synthetic sequences, so a certificate of analysis should confirm their molecular weight by mass spectrometry along with an HPLC purity figure. Thymalin is an extract-style product in the Khavinson tradition, and its documentation describes composition differently. Ask which kind of report is available before comparing it with a synthetic peptide. Batch COAs are available on request where a report is not listed on the product page.
All immune listings ship as 10-vial kits of a single size from one batch. Lyophilised vials should be refrigerated on arrival. If your study needs a peptide from this family that is not stocked, such as a specific thymosin fragment, search the shop's request-a-quote listings or send us the sequence and we will check whether a partner lab can synthesise it.
